Review by hotel critic
When considering your next stay in Austria, the Berghotel presents an interesting blend of luxury and practicality that deserves a closer look. I recently stayed here and was pleasantly surprised by the value offered for the price. The hotel is nicely renovated with cozy rooms featuring separate WC and bathrooms, ensuring a comfortable stay. In the mornings, guests can wake up to impressive sunrises above the mountain valleys from their windows. The views of Grossglockner and Grossvenediger from the terrace are equally captivating, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of hiking or snowshoeing. Speaking of outdoor activities, the surrounding area is simply fantastic, with plenty of trails for exploration. The inclusive wellness facilities, including sauna access, really elevate the experience without stealing a huge chunk from your wallet. The friendly staff-Gary stood out-complements the hotel's clean and well-maintained environment. While not the cheapest option, Berghotel strikes a sensible balance between luxury and value, making it a wise choice for those seeking comfort with adventure right at their doorstep.
